Indonesian Presidential Elections

Indonesia is a huge and beautiful country with thousands of islands. Indonesia is number one of the majority Muslim population in the world. Indonesian state should be led by a good citizen which have fair in leadership, honest, have a good character, and want to go down into the community. Therefore, the country needs  young leader energetic and full of spirit not sluggish.


The next Election of Indonesian President and Vice President will be held in 2014. This will be the third direct presidential election in Indonesia, and the elected president will have the job for the time period up to five years. Duties of the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is constitutionally barred from a third in the election.

The election system

Indonesia will use e-voting in the hope of implementing a new system in the general election. The virtue of the use of e-voting systems is the Electronic Identity Card (e-ID) that is expected to be immediately prepared nationally in 2012 and has been tried in six districts / cities, Padang (West Sumatra), Denpasar (Bali), Jembrana (Bali), Yogyakarta, Cilegon (Banten) and Makassar (South Sulawesi).
